Formerly maintained by Adam F Johnson, this blog acted a repository for some of the more speculative, heady, and incompatible parts of thought as he encountered them in the world. He now recognizes that the trope of the nomad and cyborg are worn — stretched beyond usefulness, perhaps. But he stands by his original intention: merging the figure of Jorge Luis Borges with the cyborg metaphor (through Haraway) as an examination of the interpenetration of people, thoughts, and worlds.
